We, as beach tourism experts, consider it a true paradise that perfectly combines natural beauty with top-tier service infrastructure.

How to Get to Playa de San Juan

Getting to Playa de San Juan is extremely easy, making it a very accessible option for any type of traveler. If we're coming from the center of Alicante city, we have several options that allow us to arrive quickly and without complications.

By Private Car

If we choose to drive, the beach is perfectly signposted and has ample parking areas, both free in its surroundings (especially on the streets adjacent to Avenida de Niza) and paid underground parking lots. The A-70 connects us directly to the beach area if we're coming from outside Alicante, and from the city center, Avenida de Denia takes us there without getting lost. It's important to remember that during high season, parking can be more challenging, so we recommend arriving early or considering other transport options.

By Public Transport

Public transport is, in our opinion, the most comfortable and ecological way to access Playa de San Juan. Alicante has an excellent network that leaves us right at the beach:

• Tram (TRAM Metropolitano de Alicante): It is, without a doubt, the star for getting there. Tram lines 3 and 4 take us directly to the beach with several stops along its length, such as 'Campo de Golf', 'Costa Blanca', or 'San Juan'. It's a fast, frequent journey with sea views on some stretches. Plus, it's a very pleasant experience.
• City Bus: Several bus lines of the TAM network (Transporte Alicante Metropolitano) connect the center of Alicante with Playa de San Juan. Lines 21 and 22 are the main ones and have stops all along the beach's main avenue. They are an economical and also very frequent option.

Their turquoise blue hue invites swimming and water sports. Furthermore, the entry into the sea is very gentle and gradual, without significant drops, making it extremely safe for children and the elderly. The water temperature is pleasant for much of the year, allowing us to enjoy a dip from spring until well into autumn. The sea breeze is usually constant, which helps mitigate the heat on the hottest days.

One of the strong points of Playa de San Juan is, without a doubt, its comprehensive range of services and facilities, which make it an ideal destination for all types of visitors. We always value a beach not only for its beauty but also for offering all the necessary comforts for a perfect day. And in this aspect, Playa de San Juan shines brightly.

• Showers and Toilets/WCs: All along the beach, we find numerous shower and foot-wash facilities, as well as public toilet modules, maintained in excellent condition, which is fundamental for our comfort.
• Lifeguard Service: Safety is paramount, and Playa de San Juan has a Lifeguard and constant surveillance service, with lifeguard stations strategically distributed and highly qualified personnel. This gives us great peace of mind, especially if we're with children.
• Total Accessibility: We are proud to highlight the Total Accessibility of this beach. It has walkways that reach the shoreline, adapted shaded areas, amphibious chairs, and support staff for people with reduced mobility. It's an example of inclusion and a model to follow.
• Sunshades and Sun Loungers: For those who prefer comfort, there are Sunshade and sun lounger rental points where we can relax without worrying about carrying our own equipment. It's a very practical option for spending the day.
