How to Get to Playa de los Nardos

Getting to Playa de los Nardos is part of the adventure, although it's quite straightforward with good planning. Located at the eastern end of the province of Almería, very close to the border with the Region of Murcia, the main access is usually by car, which allows us to enjoy the necessary autonomy to also explore its surroundings.

By Car

If we're coming from Almería city or from inland, we'll take the A-7 motorway towards Murcia. Once past Huércal-Overa, we'll look for the exit to Pulpí or San Juan de los Terreros. From Pulpí, the beach is well signposted, following the signs to the coast. If we're coming from Murcia, the route is similar, taking the A-7 towards Almería and turning off towards the Pulpí coast.

The advantage of arriving by car is the availability of parking near the beach. Although it's not a massive, organized parking lot, there's usually enough space to leave the vehicle, especially outside the high season. We always recommend arriving early during the summer months to secure a good spot and avoid possible crowds.

Public Transport

Public transport to Playa de los Nardos is more limited. There are bus lines connecting Pulpí with other municipalities, but getting directly to the beach by bus can be complicated and may require connections or taxis from the town. Therefore, our main recommendation is a private or rental car for maximum flexibility.
