Getting to Playa de Les Amplaries in Oropesa del Mar is relatively straightforward, given its excellent location and the area's good connections. We will give you the keys to make your journey as comfortable as possible.

By Car

If you are coming by car, which is the most common and flexible option, the beach is easily accessible from the Mediterranean Highway AP-7 (exit 45, Oropesa del Mar) or the N-340. Once in Oropesa del Mar, signs towards the coast and the northern area of the municipality will guide you directly to Les Amplaries. It is an urban beach, so it has various parking areas, both free in the surroundings and paid underground parking, especially useful in high season. We recommend arriving early in summer to secure a good spot.

By Public Transport

• Train: The Oropesa del Mar train station has connections to Valencia, Castellón, and other major cities. From the station, you can take a taxi or a local bus to the Les Amplaries area. The journey is short, just a few minutes.

We really enjoyed this option, allowing us to soak up the local atmosphere and fresh air.

The width of the beach means that, even on the busiest days, we don't feel crowded, something that greatly contributes to the feeling of relaxation.

The waters of Playa de Les Amplaries are famous for their calmness and clarity. They are usually shallow near the shore, making them especially safe for the little ones. The color, a beautiful turquoise blue that intensifies offshore, is a reflection of its cleanliness and quality. We enjoyed refreshing swims, noticing how the warm water enveloped us, a pure sensation of well-being. It is an ideal place to swim calmly, float, or simply splash around without worries. The absence of strong currents and the natural protection of the bay contribute to the sea being, most of the time, a serene mirror that invites enjoyment.

• Showers and Toilets/WCs: Along the entire promenade, we found numerous points with showers to wash off the salt and sand after swimming. The public toilets, clean and well-maintained, are a plus for the comfort of families and visitors in general.
• Chiringuitos and Restaurants: The gastronomic offer is varied. Right on the beach, several chiringuitos invite us to enjoy a refreshing drink, an ice cream, or even a light meal with sea views. On the promenade and its surroundings, there is a good selection of restaurants offering everything from paellas and fresh seafood to more international options.
• Sunshades and Sun Loungers: For those who prefer maximum comfort, there are areas where it is possible to rent sunshades and sun loungers, allowing us to relax without having to carry our own.
