How to Get to Playa de Ndërnenas

Getting to Playa de Ndërnenas is relatively straightforward, especially if traveling by car, which we always recommend for exploring the Albanian coast with total freedom. The beach is located near the city of Fier, the capital of the province of the same name, in southwestern Albania. For those coming from other major cities in the country, such as Tirana or Durrës, the journey is comfortable and well-signposted.

From Tirana or Durrës

If your starting point is Tirana, the capital, or the port city of Durrës, you should take the A2 highway heading south, towards Lushnjë and then Fier. The trip from Tirana usually takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you approach Fier, signs towards Seman or the coast will guide you to Playa de Ndërnenas. It is important to consider that the main roads are in good condition, but the final stretches towards the beach may be somewhat more rural, though perfectly passable.

From Fier

From the center of Fier, Playa de Ndërnenas is about 20-25 kilometers away. The most common route involves following signs towards the coastal area of Seman. The drive from Fier takes approximately 25-35 minutes. You will enjoy a rural landscape as you approach the sea.
