How to Get to Cala dels Vivers

We always recommend planning the route, although in this case, the directions are usually clear. If you're coming by car, which is the most common and comfortable option, you should head towards the municipality of Mont-roig del Camp, in the province of Tarragona. Once there, follow the signs towards the Miami Platja area, as the cove is located on the coastal stretch between Mont-roig del Camp and L'Hospitalet de l'Infant.

By Car

From the A-7 (Mediterranean Motorway) or the N-340, take the exit for Mont-roig del Camp or Miami Platja. Once on the local road, you'll find signs towards the coves. Cala dels Vivers has a nearby parking area, usually free, where you can park your vehicle. We always advise arriving early during the high season (July and August) to secure a good spot, as, although the cove isn't huge, its popularity among locals and visitors has been increasing. The access from the parking lot to the sand is short and easy, which is a plus, especially if you're traveling with children or a lot of luggage.

By Public Transport

Although the car is the preferred option, it's also possible to get there by public transport, albeit with more limitations. There are bus lines connecting Mont-roig del Camp and Miami Platja with other towns on the Costa Daurada, such as Cambrils or Salou. However, the bus stop closest to the cove may require a 15-20 minute walk. If you choose this option, we recommend checking the schedules in advance, as the frequency can vary considerably depending on the time of year. From our experience, to fully enjoy the freedom that exploring this area offers, the car is undoubtedly the best choice.
