Getting to Playa de Miramar is quite straightforward, which adds to its appeal. We are located a short distance from major urban centers and with good connections.

By Car

If we come by car, the most comfortable option, we can easily access it from the AP-7 (Mediterranean Highway), taking exit 60 (Gandia/Oliva) and following the signs to Miramar. The journey from Valencia city usually takes about an hour, while from Alicante it can take a little over an hour and a half. The advantage of coming by car is the flexibility to explore the surroundings.

By Public Transport

For those who prefer public transport, there are several options:

• Train: The nearest train station is in Gandia, which has local commuter services (line C-1) from Valencia. Once in Gandia, we can take a local bus or a taxi that will take us directly to Playa de Miramar, a short journey of about 10-15 minutes.
• Bus: There are intercity bus lines connecting Miramar with Gandia and other nearby towns. During the high season, the frequency is usually higher, making travel easier.

Parking

Once at Playa de Miramar, finding parking is not usually an excessive problem, especially outside the peak hours of midsummer. There are regulated parking zones and some free parking areas on the streets adjacent to the beach. We always recommend arriving early if visiting in high season to secure a good spot.

All beach services are operating at one hundred percent (lifeguards, beach bars, rentals). However, this is also when the beach is most crowded, especially on weekends in July and August. If we like a lively atmosphere and don't mind crowds, this is our time.
• Spring (April-May) and Autumn (October): For us, these are the ideal seasons if we seek tranquility. The weather is still very pleasant, with mild temperatures that allow for walks on the beach, sunbathing, and even swimming on the warmer days. The influx of tourists is much lower, allowing us to enjoy the beach with incomparable peace. Many beach bars and restaurants remain open, albeit with reduced hours. It's perfect for those seeking relaxation and disconnection.
• Winter (November-March): Although swimming is not the main activity, Playa de Miramar in winter offers beautiful landscapes and absolute serenity. It's fantastic for long walks along the shore, enjoying the pure sea air, and observing migratory birds. The climate is cool but often sunny in the Valencian Community.

Our recommendation is spring or early autumn for a more relaxed experience, or summer if we seek the bustle and the full leisure offering.
