By Car

If we are coming from Faro Airport, the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. We must take the A22 motorway (Via do Infante) towards Portimão/Lagos and, after passing Lagos, follow the signs to Sagres via the N125 and then the N125-4. The road is in excellent condition and offers picturesque landscapes along the way. From Lagos, the trip is much shorter, around 30 to 40 minutes, also following the N125 towards Sagres. Once in Sagres, Praia do Martinhal is just a few minutes away, well signposted. Regarding parking, there are usually options, often linked to nearby resorts or public parking, although in high season they can fill up quickly, so we recommend arriving early.

Public Transport

Public transport is an option, but requires more patience and planning. From Faro or Lagos, you can take buses from the EVA or VAMUS companies to Sagres. Once in Sagres, the beach is within walking distance (about 15-20 minutes) or you can opt for a local taxi to get there comfortably.
