How to Get to Praia do Almargem

From the center of Faro, the journey takes approximately 20-25 minutes by car, following signs to Quarteira or Vilamoura, and then turning off towards the coast. By Car

For those coming from farther away or from Faro Airport, access is via the A22 (Via do Infante) and then well-maintained secondary roads. Once near the beach, you'll find a spacious and generally free Parking area, although in high season it can fill up quickly, so we recommend arriving early. The convenience of having the car nearby allows us to bring everything needed for a beach day without worries.

Public Transport

Public transport to Praia do Almargem is more limited. While there are bus lines connecting Faro with nearby towns like Quarteira, from there you would have to take a taxi or walk a considerable distance.
