How to Get to Praia da Lagoa

By Car

If you choose to come by car, Praia da Lagoa is easily accessible via the VCI (Via de Cintura Interna) or the A28. There are several parking areas nearby, both free (though they tend to fill up quickly in high season) and paid. We always advise arriving early, especially during summer weekends, to secure a good spot. The coastal road, Avenida da Liberdade, runs the entire length of the beach and provides easy access to different points. It's a comfortable option if you plan to bring a lot of luggage or beach equipment.

By Public Transport

Public transport is an excellent alternative for reaching this Porto beach without worrying about parking. The Porto metro network is efficient and modern:

• Metro: You can take Line A (blue) to the 'Mercado' or 'Matosinhos Sul' station and from there take a pleasant 15-20 minute walk to the beach.
