Having explored various routes, we can confirm that the most common and convenient way is from the nearby city of Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is only about 12 to 15 kilometers away. Accessibility is one of the great advantages of this Sancti Spíritus beach, allowing visitors to combine coastal beauty with the cultural richness of the colonial city.

From Trinidad, we have found several options to get to Playa Ancón:

• ### Taxi:

This is the fastest and most comfortable way. There are many taxis available in Trinidad, both the iconic classic American cars and more modern vehicles. The journey usually takes between 15 and 20 minutes, and the price is negotiable, so we always recommend agreeing on it with the driver before getting in the vehicle to avoid surprises. It's an excellent option if you're looking for privacy and speed.

• ### Bicycle:

For the more adventurous and those who enjoy outdoor exercise, renting a bicycle in Trinidad is an excellent option. The road to Playa Ancón is mostly flat and offers beautiful views of the Cuban countryside and coast. There are several bicycle rental points in the city, and the journey, although it may take about 45-60 minutes, is very rewarding. It's an ecological and healthy way to get to the beach.

• ### Tourist Bus (Transtur):

There is a double-decker bus that connects Trinidad with Playa Ancón and the nearby marina. It runs several times a day on a set schedule and is an economical and picturesque option for getting there. The ticket is usually valid for the whole day, allowing you to get on and off at different points. It's ideal for those who are not in a hurry and want to enjoy the scenery peacefully, and it's also a very popular mode of transport among tourists.

If you have the possibility of renting a car in Cuba, the road to Playa Ancón is in good condition and easy to follow. If you're coming from other cities like Sancti Spíritus (approximately 70 km) or even Havana (about 350 km), the best option is to take a Viazul bus to Trinidad. The Viazul bus network is quite efficient for long-distance travel in Cuba and will drop you off at the Trinidad station, from where Playa Ancón is a short trip using one of the methods mentioned above. We always advise planning ahead, especially in high season, as Viazul tickets can sell out quickly. The convenience of being so close to Trinidad makes access to this Cuba beach truly convenient.
