The Sand and Water
Playa de San Juan is famous for its natural characteristics that make it so attractive. We always highlight the quality of its sand and the transparency of its waters, elements that make the difference and establish it as a benchmark among the beaches of Alicante.
The Sand: A Golden and Soft Carpet
The sand at Playa de San Juan is fine and of a golden color that shines under the Mediterranean sun. Its texture is incredibly soft to the touch, making it perfect for walking barefoot, building sandcastles with the little ones, or simply relaxing on it. Being so extensive, it never feels crowded, even on the busiest days. It's a true pleasure to spread out our towel and feel this soft carpet under our feet.
The Water: Crystal Clear and Tempting
The waters of Playa de San Juan are a true delight. They are characterized by their cleanliness and transparency, which has earned them the Blue Flag distinction year after year. Their turquoise blue hue invites swimming and water sports. Furthermore, the entry into the sea is very gentle and gradual, without significant drops, making it extremely safe for children and the elderly. The water temperature is pleasant for much of the year, allowing us to enjoy a dip from spring until well into autumn.
