How to get to Playa de Cué

Getting to Playa de Cué is relatively straightforward, although it requires some attention, as it's located in a more rural and less developed environment than other beaches in the area. We always advise planning your route to avoid surprises and fully enjoy the journey.

By car

The most comfortable way to access Playa de Cué is by car. From the center of Llanes, you just need to take the AS-263 road towards Posada de Llanes. After a few kilometers, you'll see signs for the village of Cué. Once in the village, follow the signs that will guide you to the beach. Near the sandy area, you'll find a parking zone, which is usually paid during high season (summer) and on weekends. Our recommendation is to arrive early, especially if you visit the beach during peak months, to secure a good spot and avoid crowds. The parking is a comfortable distance from the beach, which is accessed by going down some stairs.

Public transport

Although public transport isn't as direct as by car, options exist. You can take a bus from Llanes to the village of Cué, although the frequency may be limited. Once in Cué, the beach is a short walk away. For us, it's a good option if you prefer not to worry about parking and enjoy a walk through the picturesque Asturian village.

On foot or by bicycle

For the more adventurous or those staying nearby, Playa de Cué is accessible on foot or by bicycle via local trails and secondary roads with little traffic.
