How to Get to Playa de S'Argamassa

Getting to Playa de S'Argamassa is relatively straightforward, whether we are coming from the capital, Eivissa, or from nearby Santa Eulalia del Río. We always recommend exploring the options to suit each traveler's preferences.

By Car

If we choose the car, which is the most comfortable option for most, the journey from Eivissa takes approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. We must take the road towards Santa Eulalia and, once there, follow the signs to Es Canar. Playa de S'Argamassa is located just before reaching Es Canar, well signposted. From Santa Eulalia, the journey is even shorter, about 5-7 minutes by car. There are parking options near the beach, although in high season they may be paid or require some patience to find a spot. We advise arriving early to secure a good place.

By Public Transport

For those who prefer public transport, there are bus lines connecting Eivissa with Santa Eulalia (line 13). From Santa Eulalia, you can take a local bus going to Es Canar (line 10 or similar, it's advisable to check updated timetables), which stops near S'Argamassa. While it is a more economical option, the frequency may be lower, especially outside the summer season.

On Foot or by Bicycle

From Santa Eulalia, it is also possible to reach it on foot or by bicycle via a pleasant promenade and coastal paths offering spectacular views of the coastline. It is an excellent way to enjoy the landscape and the sea breeze before immersing ourselves in the waters of S'Argamassa. We have greatly enjoyed these morning walks.

The entrance to the sea is very gentle and gradual, maintaining shallow depth for several meters, which reinforces its reputation as an extremely safe beach for the whole family. The water temperature, especially in the summer months, is pleasantly warm, inviting long swims and enjoyment of the Mediterranean freshness. It is the perfect place for a worry-free dip, where the only sound is the gentle ebb and flow of the waves.

Upon arrival, one of the first services we appreciate is the availability of parking, although as mentioned, in high season it is advisable to arrive early. Once on the sand, comfort is enhanced by the possibility of renting sun loungers and umbrellas, allowing you to enjoy the sun and sea breeze without worrying about bringing your own equipment. This is especially useful for families or for those seeking a day of relaxation without burdens.

Hygiene and comfort are ensured with the presence of showers to rinse off sand and salt after swimming, and clean, accessible toilets/WCs. For everyone's safety, the beach has lifeguard services, a fundamental service that gives us peace of mind, especially when visiting with children.
