If you choose to drive, the C-32 highway is the most direct route from Barcelona, with a specific exit for Premià de Mar. You can also take the N-II, a more coastal road offering panoramic views, although the journey is a bit slower. Once in Premià de Mar, the beach is well signposted. Regarding parking, you'll find parking areas near the beach, both paid and some free options, especially during the less busy months. During the summer, it can be a bit more challenging, so it's advisable to arrive early.

By Public Transport

For those who prefer public transport, the R1 line of Rodalies de Catalunya is the ideal option. The Premià de Mar station is just a few minutes' walk from Playa de Descàrrega, making it a very convenient and eco-friendly alternative. From the center of Barcelona, the train will practically leave you on the sand in about 30-40 minutes. Furthermore, several bus lines connect Premià de Mar with neighboring towns and Barcelona, offering flexibility for your trip.
