By Car

If you're coming by car from Barcelona, the most direct option is to take the C-32 heading south and exit at Castelldefels. You can also opt for the C-31, which offers spectacular views of the coast. Once in Castelldefels, following the signs to the beach is very easy. You'll find various parking areas, both paid and some on-street parking options, although the latter tend to be busier in high season. Our recommendation is to arrive early if you're traveling in the summer months to secure a good spot.

By Public Transport

Public transport is an excellent alternative, especially if you want to avoid the stress of parking. Castelldefels is very well connected to Barcelona:

• Train: The R2 Sud line of Rodalies de Catalunya will drop you off at Castelldefels station. From there, you can take a local bus or enjoy a pleasant 15-20 minute walk to the beach. It's a comfortable and efficient option.
• Bus: Several intercity bus lines connect Barcelona with Castelldefels, such as the L94, L95, L96, L97, and L99. Many of these lines have stops along the promenade, dropping you off right at Playa de la Pineda. It's ideal if you don't want to carry many things and prefer the comfort of a direct journey.
