How to Get to Playa del Fòrum

Getting to Playa del Fòrum is surprisingly easy, given its excellent connection to the public transport network of Barcelona and Sant Adrià de Besòs. We always recommend opting for sustainable transport to fully enjoy the urban and coastal landscape without worrying about parking.

By Metro

The most comfortable and fastest option is, without a doubt, the metro. The L4 (yellow) line has a strategic stop called 'El Maresme | Fòrum', which leaves you just a few minutes' walk from the bathing area. Once we leave the station, we just have to follow the signs towards the Parc del Fòrum and, from there, towards the sea. It's a pleasant and very well-signposted walk.

By Tram

Another efficient alternative is the tram. The T4 line of Trambesòs also has the 'Fòrum' stop, which is practically at the entrance to the Parc del Fòrum. It is an excellent option if we are coming from other areas of the metropolitan area and want to enjoy a journey with views.

By Bus

Several urban bus lines, both from Barcelona and Sant Adrià de Besòs, have stops near the beach. It is advisable to check the specific lines (for example, H16, V29, B20, B23) that pass through the Fòrum area to find the one that best suits our starting point. The frequency is usually good, especially in high season.

By Car

If we prefer the comfort of the car, we should know that the Fòrum area has paid underground parking. Although there is no direct parking at the beach, those at the Diagonal Mar Shopping Center or the Parc del Fòrum itself are a short distance away. It is important to consider that on event days or in high season, they can be quite busy. From the Ronda Litoral (B-10), the 'Diagonal Mar / Fòrum' exit will leave us very close.

By Bicycle or on Foot

For sports lovers and walkers, Playa del Fòrum is accessible via an extensive bike lane and a promenade that connects the entire coastline. We can easily arrive from Barcelona or from other nearby municipalities while enjoying a pleasant route by the sea. It is, without a doubt, one of the most charming ways to discover the area.

Instead, we are greeted by a wide concrete platform that leads us directly to the sea via comfortable ramps and stairs. This feature is, in fact, one of its biggest attractions for many visitors, especially those looking to avoid sand or who require barrier-free accessibility. The 'floor' of the bathing area is a combination of concrete and, in some areas, pebbles or rocks polished by the sea once we enter the water, which gives it a feeling of solidity and cleanliness.

As for the water, it is typically Mediterranean: transparent and with a pleasant temperature during the summer months. Being a bathing area protected by breakwaters, currents are minimal and the waves are usually very gentle, making it an exceptionally safe place for swimming. The water quality is regularly monitored and usually holds the Blue Flag, a distinction of environmental and service excellence. It is a pleasure to immerse yourself in these calm and crystal-clear waters, with the comfort of accessing them without the inconvenience of sand sticking everywhere.
