How to Get to Playa de Almassora

For most of us, the car will be the preferred option to reach Playa de Almassora. If we are coming from the south, for example, from Valencia, the most direct route is via the AP-7. We should take exit 48, which indicates 'Vila-real/Almassora', and from there follow the clear signage that will guide us directly to the coast and the beach. The journey is smooth and allows us to enjoy the typical agricultural landscapes of the Plana Baixa.

If our starting point is the north, from Barcelona or Tarragona, we will also take the AP-7 and the same exit 48. From Castellón de la Plana, the provincial capital, the distance is minimal, just about 10-15 minutes by car via the CV-18 or CV-10, making Playa de Almassora a perfect getaway for residents and visitors of the city.

Once in the beach area, finding parking is usually not a problem, even in high season. The beach has several free parking zones along the promenade and adjacent streets. From there, we can take an urban bus to the center of Almassora and then the local bus to the beach, or opt for a taxi, which will take us directly to our coastal destination.
