How to Get to Playa Blanca

Getting to Playa Blanca is surprisingly easy, given its privileged location near the capital, Puerto del Rosario. For those staying in the city, the beach is accessible even on foot, offering a pleasant coastal walk that allows us to soak up the local atmosphere before diving into the sand. If we are coming from other towns in Fuerteventura, access by car is undoubtedly the most comfortable and common option.

By Car

From any point on the island, the FV-2 road will take us directly to Puerto del Rosario. Once in the capital, the signage to the beach is clear and will guide us without difficulty. There are free parking areas near the beach, which is a great advantage, although during high season or on weekends it can be a bit more challenging to find a free spot, so we always recommend arriving early to secure our place. The ease of parking is one of the strong points of this beach in Fuerteventura, allowing us to enjoy without worries.

By Public Transport

Puerto del Rosario has a good network of intercity buses (guaguas) connecting the capital with the rest of the island. If our accommodation is in another town, we can take a guagua to the Puerto del Rosario station and, from there, opt for a short taxi ride or a 20-30 minute walk to Playa Blanca. The urban guagua line also has stops close to the beach, making access even easier for those who prefer to leave the car aside.
