By rental car

The most comfortable and flexible option, and the one we always recommend for exploring Fuerteventura, is renting a car. From Fuerteventura Airport (FUE), the journey to Costa Calma takes about an hour, following the FV-2 road south. The signage is clear and the drive is pleasant, passing through volcanic landscapes that prepare you for the beauty of the destination. Once in Costa Calma, you will find several free parking areas near the beach, which makes access easy.

By public transport

If you prefer not to drive, there is the bus option. Line 1 of the Tiadhe company connects Puerto del Rosario (the capital) and the airport with Morro Jable, making stops in Costa Calma. The schedules are regular, although it's always a good idea to check them in advance, especially on weekends or holidays. It is a more economical alternative, although less flexible for getting around the beach's surroundings.
