How to get to Playa de Morro Jable

Getting to Playa de Morro Jable is relatively easy, given its popularity and the good connections in the southern area of Fuerteventura. The beach is located at the southern tip of the island, in the town of Morro Jable, which is part of the municipality of Pájara.

By car

If we are coming from Fuerteventura Airport (FUE), the drive takes approximately one hour and twenty minutes, covering about 85 kilometers along the FV-2, the main road that runs north-south across the island. This road is in excellent condition and offers arid, volcanic landscapes that are a spectacle in themselves. Once in Morro Jable, you will find numerous signs pointing to the beach and the promenade. There are several parking areas, both free and paid, in the vicinity, although during high season it can be a bit more challenging to find a spot close to the shore.

By bus (Guagua)

Fuerteventura has a public bus network, known as 'guaguas'. Line 1, for example, connects Puerto del Rosario (the capital) with Morro Jable, making stops at major tourist hubs like Caleta de Fuste and Costa Calma. It is an economical and comfortable option if you don't want to rent a car. The Morro Jable bus station is a short walk from the beach and the town center.

By taxi or private transfer

For those who prefer comfort and speed, there is always the option of taking a taxi from the airport or hiring a private transfer service. It is the most expensive alternative, but also the most direct and worry-free, ideal if you are traveling with a lot of luggage or in a group.
