How to Get to Playa de La Mamola

The car is, without a doubt, the most comfortable and practical option to reach Playa de La Mamola. From the city of Granada, the journey takes approximately an hour and a half, taking the A-44 towards Motril and then the N-340/A-7 towards Almería. You should take the exit towards La Mamola. The road is good, with landscapes that combine the mountains with the intense blue of the sea, which is already part of the experience. There are free parking areas near the beach, although they can fill up quickly during the high season, so we advise arriving early.

By Public Transport

Public transport options are more limited. There are bus lines connecting Granada with some municipalities on the Costa Tropical, but getting directly to La Mamola may require transfers and less frequent schedules.
