How to Get to Playa Dorada

Getting to Playa Dorada is extremely easy, which adds an extra point to its appeal, especially for those traveling with children or seeking maximum comfort. We, for example, have experienced several forms of access and all have proven to be very practical. If you are staying in Playa Blanca, you can most likely walk there without any problem, as the beach is integrated into the town's promenade. It's a pleasant and lively walk, with shops, restaurants, and sea views that make the journey even more enjoyable.

For those coming from other parts of Lanzarote, a rental car is an excellent option. The island is very well connected by road and the signs to Playa Blanca are clear. Once in the town, finding parking near the beach is usually feasible, although in high season it may require a little more patience. There are Parking areas, both free on the surrounding streets and paid in some nearby hotels or public car parks. Another very comfortable alternative is a taxi, which in Lanzarote is not excessively expensive and will drop you right at the entrance to the promenade. Furthermore, public transport on the island works quite well, with bus lines (guaguas) connecting Playa Blanca with other important towns like Arrecife or Puerto del Carmen. We always advise checking schedules in advance, but in general, getting to this paradise is just another part of the adventure we will enjoy stress-free.

The predominant type of seabed is sand, which facilitates entering and exiting the sea and guarantees a comfortable and safe experience for everyone. It is, in short, a place where the quality of the sand and the purity of the water combine to offer a first-class beach experience.
