How to Get to Playa Ancha

Getting to Playa Ancha in Casares is relatively straightforward, as it has good connections and signage. If coming from Malaga city or Marbella, the most direct option is to take the AP-7 motorway towards Algeciras and then turn off at the Casares/Manilva exit. From Estepona, it's a short journey on the A-7 (old N-340) towards Cadiz. You'll see signs for Casares Costa or the beach itself.

Once in the coastal area of Casares, access to the beach is easy. It has several nearby parking areas, both free and paid during the summer months, which greatly facilitates arrival by private vehicle. We recommend arriving early on the busiest days to secure a good spot. Although public transport in this area is less frequent than in large cities, there are intercity bus lines connecting Casares Costa with Estepona and other nearby points, although for the specific beach, the car remains the most comfortable option.
