How to Get to Playa de Casasola

Getting to Playa de Casasola is relatively easy, as it has good connections and access. From any point on the Costa del Sol, the most comfortable way is usually by car, taking advantage of the Mediterranean Highway (A-7 or AP-7).

By Car

If you're coming from Malaga city or the airport, you should take the A-7 towards Algeciras/Cadiz. Once you pass Marbella and Puerto Banus, follow the signs to Estepona. Playa de Casasola is located in the eastern part of the municipality, before reaching the urban center of Estepona. There are several exits that will bring you closer to the beach, generally signposted towards coastal residential areas or urbanizations. We recommend paying attention to signs indicating 'Exit 164' or 'Exit 163', which will direct you towards the urbanizations in the Guadalmina Baja or Atalaya Isdabe area, where the beach is located. The journey from Malaga usually takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour, depending on traffic. From Estepona center, access is just 10-15 minutes by car.

Parking

One of the advantages of Playa de Casasola is that, being a semi-urban and residential area, there are usually parking options. You'll find designated areas on the streets adjacent to the beach, although during high season or very busy weekends you might have to circle around a bit. Our recommendation is to arrive early to secure a good spot. Don't expect large paid parking lots, but rather on-street parking in the nearby urbanizations.

By Public Transport

Although a car is the most recommended option, you can also reach the Playa de Casasola area using public transport. From Estepona, there are urban or intercity bus lines that connect the center with different coastal areas. You should look for lines that pass through the eastern zone, such as L-2 or L-3, which usually run along the N-340/A-7 area and have stops close to the Casasola urbanizations.
