By Car

If we choose the car, the beach is accessible from the A-7 motorway (Ronda de Malaga) taking exit 246 (El Candado/La Cala del Moral). Nearby, we will find parking options on adjacent streets, although in high season it can be a bit more difficult to find a spot. Some chiringuitos or the Nautical Club may have parking for customers, which is an advantage to consider.

By Public Transport

Public transport is an excellent alternative. Several EMT bus lines connect the center of Malaga with the eastern area. Lines 3 and 11 have stops close to the beach. By Bicycle or on Foot

For the more active, the Promenade that extends from Malaga city and passes through neighborhoods like El Palo and Pedregalejo, reaches Playa de El Candado. We also have the option to rent umbrellas and sun loungers to ensure our comfort under the sun.

Although full accessibility is a challenge, the beach does have access ramps that facilitate getting to the sand for people with reduced mobility. Parking in the vicinity is an essential service, and the proximity to the El Candado Nautical Club opens up a range of possibilities regarding equipment rental for water sports and the availability of a sports area for nautical activities.
