By Car
From Nerja, the journey is short, just a few kilometers heading east towards Almería. You need to take the old N-340 and follow the signs towards Maro. Once in the village of Maro, you will find signposted turnoffs to the beach. Parking is limited, especially in summer. There are paid parking areas nearby, but they tend to fill up quickly. Our suggestion is to arrive early in the morning to secure a spot. The roads are winding, but the landscape is spectacular.
Public Transport and Other Options
If we prefer not to worry about parking, we can take a bus from Nerja to the village of Maro, and from there, the beach is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk downhill. There are also taxi services that can take us directly.
