How to Get to Playa de la Ermita

Getting to Playa de la Ermita is relatively straightforward, making it an accessible destination for everyone. If we come by car, the most comfortable way is to take the A-7 or AP-7 highway to the Mazarrón exit. Once in the municipality, the signs towards Puerto de Mazarrón and then towards the Bolnuevo area or the beach itself are clear. The beach is very close to the urban center, which facilitates access. We always recommend using a GPS navigator for greater precision, but in general, the signage is good.

Parking

One of the advantages of this Mazarrón beach is that it usually has several parking areas nearby. Although in the middle of summer it can be more difficult to find a spot right on the front line, there are always options on adjacent streets or in designated parking lots a short distance away. We usually arrive early to secure a good spot, especially if we're bringing all our beach gear. The proximity to the Paseo Marítimo also offers alternative parking options.

Public Transport

For those who prefer not to drive, there are bus lines connecting Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón with the different beaches in the area, including Playa de la Ermita. It's advisable to check the updated schedules and routes of the local transport company (LATBUS or similar) before planning the trip, as they may vary depending on the season. Although it's not the most popular option for getting directly to the beach with all your belongings, it's a viable alternative for those staying in the center of the municipality or in the port.

Walking barefoot, we feel a very pleasant softness, perfect for sensitive feet and, above all, for children to play and build sandcastles without any problems. The sandy area is quite extensive, allowing towels and umbrellas to be comfortably spaced out, avoiding the feeling of overcrowding we sometimes find on other beaches.

The Mediterranean Waters

The waters that bathe Playa de la Ermita are one of its greatest attractions. They are notably calm and crystal clear, with a turquoise blue hue that invites you for a swim.
