The temperatures are pleasant, the water is already warm enough for swimming, and, most importantly, the number of people is much lower. You can enjoy the cove almost in solitude, with the cry of seagulls as the only soundtrack. It's the perfect time for relaxation, reading, and long snorkeling sessions without interruptions.

Summer and Autumn

During the months of July and August, the popularity of the beaches of Águilas increases considerably, and Playa de la Galera, despite its more intimate character, also receives more visitors. If you don't mind sharing the space, the summer heat is ideal for a dip. However, if you seek maximum tranquility, it might be better to avoid the midday hours in August. Autumn (September and October) is another excellent option.
