How to Get to Playa de Ribeira

By Car

If you're coming by car, Baiona is well connected by road. From Vigo, for example, the distance is just 20-25 minutes via the AG-57 highway. Once in Baiona, the beach is located right in the center, next to the marina and the Parador. The issue of parking during the high season can be a bit more complicated, as is often the case in coastal urban centers. However, you will find:

• Paid public parking: There are several options for underground or surface paid parking very close to the center and the harbor, just a few minutes' walk from the beach.
• On-street parking: Outside the high season, it is possible to find parking spaces on nearby streets, although many are in blue zones (ORA) and require a ticket. In summer, we recommend arriving early or considering paid parking to avoid frustration.

On Foot

If you are already staying in Baiona, Playa de Ribeira is perfectly accessible on foot from any point in the urban area. From the historic center or the promenade, a short and pleasant walk will take you directly to the sand. Its proximity to the town's main points of interest makes it very convenient to go to the beach at any time of the day.

By Public Transport

Baiona has bus lines connecting it with Vigo and other nearby towns. Bus stops are usually in the center of the town, within walking distance of the beach.
