How to Get to Playa de l'Ahuir

Getting to Playa de l'Ahuir is relatively easy, and the options vary depending on your preference and starting point. Being in Gandia, a well-connected city, you won't have problems accessing this coastal enclave.

By Car

For many, the car is the most comfortable and flexible option. From Valencia city, the journey is approximately 60-70 kilometers, taking the AP-7 motorway towards Alicante and then the exit for Gandia (exit 60). Once in Gandia, follow the signs to the beach and, specifically, to the northern area where l'Ahuir is located. The beach has designated Parking areas, both free and paid during high season, which greatly facilitates arrival and avoids worries about finding a spot. We always recommend arriving early in the summer months to secure a good place, especially if you visit the beach on weekends.

By Public Transport

If you prefer not to drive, public transport is an excellent alternative. Gandia is connected to Valencia by commuter train (Renfe's C-1 line), with a fairly good frequency. Once at Gandia train station, you can take a local bus that will take you directly to the beach area. Local bus lines usually have stops near Playa de l'Ahuir, especially during the summer season. It's an ecological option that allows you to relax without thinking about traffic or parking.

By Bicycle

For cycling enthusiasts, Gandia and its surroundings offer bike lanes connecting the city with its beaches. It's a fantastic way to get to Playa de l'Ahuir, enjoying the landscape and getting some exercise. Furthermore, some areas of the beach have bicycle parking, which facilitates its use.
