How to Get to Playa de Soros

Getting to Playa de Soros is part of the adventure and, fortunately, a fairly straightforward process that takes us through the picturesque landscapes of Antiparos. First, we must reach the island of Antiparos, which is generally done via a short and frequent ferry ride from neighboring Paros.

From Paros to Antiparos

• From Pounta (Paros): This is the most common and fastest route. A small ferry connects Pounta with Antiparos in just 7-10 minutes. Ferries operate very frequently during the day, especially in high season. We can take our car, motorbike, or simply travel on foot. It's a short and very scenic crossing, giving us a first taste of the beauty of the Aegean.
• From Parikia (Paros): During the summer months, there are also larger passenger ferries that directly connect the main port of Parikia with Antiparos. This option is ideal if we arrive in Paros without a vehicle or prefer not to use one.

From Antiparos Port to Playa de Soros

Once we have disembarked at Antiparos port, we have several options to get to Playa de Soros, which is about 10-15 minutes by car or motorbike south of the Chora (the main town):

• Rental Car or Motorbike: For us, this is the most comfortable and flexible option. We can rent a vehicle at Antiparos port or in the main town. The road is well signposted and allows us to explore other beaches of Antiparos and hidden corners of the island at our own pace.
• Local Bus: During the high season, there are bus services connecting Antiparos port with the main beaches, including Soros. It's an economical and practical option if we don't want to drive. Schedules are usually available at the bus stop or tourist offices.
• Taxi: We can always opt for a taxi from the port. It's a bit more expensive but very convenient, especially if we are traveling with luggage or in a group.
