By Public Transport

From the center of Athens, public transport is the most comfortable and economical way to get there. We usually opt for:

• Tram: It is, without a doubt, our favorite option. You can take line T6 (Pikrodafni - Syntagma) or T7 (Pikrodafni - Vouliagmeni) from Syntagma Square or Faliro, respectively, and get off at the 'Zefyros' or 'Loutra Alimou' station. The journey is picturesque, running along the coast and offering beautiful sea views. It's a relaxing way to arrive, without worrying about traffic or parking.
• Bus: Several bus lines connect Athens with the Alimos area. Check the local routes, but lines like A1, A2, or B2 usually pass nearby. It's a good alternative if your accommodation is in an area not directly covered by the tram.

By Car

The beach has parking areas, although in high season they can fill up quickly, so we recommend arriving early, especially on weekends.

For those seeking greater comfort, a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber or Beat will take you directly to the beach. It's a more expensive option, but very practical if you're traveling with a lot of luggage or with small children. The cost from central Athens is around 15-20 euros, depending on the time and traffic.
