These tracks, although passable, require caution and patience, especially if you are not used to driving on uneven terrain. There are no excessively large signs, so it's useful to have a GPS or a map. The reward, however, is immense: at the end of the road, a breathtaking panoramic view of Kalamos Bay awaits. As for parking, there is usually informal space along the final road, but don't expect an organized, supervised parking lot; it's simply a place to leave the vehicle before descending to the sand. For the more adventurous, it is also possible to arrive by boat, hiring a private excursion that explores the island's most secluded coves.

These months are, in our opinion, ideal. The weather is wonderfully warm and sunny, but the peak summer crowds have not yet arrived. The water temperatures are pleasant for swimming, and the island is in full bloom, offering green and vibrant landscapes.
