How to Get to Playa de Agrari

Getting to Playa de Agrari is part of the adventure, and its relative accessibility contributes to its more serene atmosphere. While it's not as direct as other main beaches, the options are varied and suit different preferences.

By Car, Motorbike, or ATV

The most comfortable and flexible way to get to Agrari is by renting a car, motorbike, or ATV. From Mykonos Town (Chora), the journey takes approximately 20-25 minutes. The road, although mostly paved, becomes a bit narrower and winding as you approach the beach, descending down a hill. There is a parking area available at the back of the beach, although during high season it can fill up quickly, so it's advisable to arrive early if you want to secure a good spot. The freedom of having your own vehicle allows you to explore the surroundings and visit other nearby coves with ease.

By Public Bus and Water Taxi

For those who prefer public transport, the most common option is to take the bus from the Fabrika station in Mykonos Town to Elia Beach. Buses are frequent during the day in high season. Once at Elia, we can choose to walk to Agrari. Both beaches are separated by a small hill, and the walk takes about 10-15 minutes, offering spectacular views of the Aegean Sea. Alternatively, if you don't feel like walking, a water taxi from Elia is a fun and quick way to cover the short distance. These small boats connect several Mykonos beaches on the south coast, offering a unique perspective of the island from the sea.

The entrance to the sea is gentle and gradual, without sudden drops, which adds an extra layer of safety and comfort, especially for the little ones or for those who don't feel very confident in the water.

Despite its more relaxed atmosphere, Playa de Agrari does not skimp on essential services to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay for all its visitors. It is a well-organized beach, which has sometimes earned it the distinction of a Blue Flag, a seal of quality that certifies its cleanliness, safety, and environmental management.

Amenities at the Beach

At Agrari, we find a good supply of sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent, allowing us to enjoy the sun without worries and with maximum comfort. Prices are reasonable, in line with other organized beaches in Mykonos. To refresh ourselves after a swim, we have showers available to wash off the sea salt. The presence of lifeguards during the high season adds an extra layer of safety, something we always value, especially when traveling with children.

Gastronomic Options: Beach Bars and Restaurants

The beach has at least one chiringuito (beach bar) and a main restaurant, the Agrari Beach Bar & Restaurant, which is located directly on the sand. Here we can enjoy excellent Greek and international cuisine, from fresh salads and grilled seafood to more elaborate dishes.
