Another option is to use public transport. There are regular buses connecting Rethymno with the villages near Episkopi. While they won't drop you off directly on the sand, the stop is usually a short walk away. Ask for routes heading towards Chania or eastern villages like Georgioupoli, and get off at the stop closest to Episkopi.

From Chania or Heraklion Airport
