How to Get to Playa de Glysteri

Getting to Playa de Glysteri is part of the adventure and offers us several options, all of them charming. From the capital, Skopelos Town, the beach is located approximately 4 kilometers to the north, making it easily accessible. We recommend considering the following alternatives:

By Car or Scooter

The most common route is to take the paved road from Skopelos Town. The path is picturesque and winds through olive groves and pine trees, offering spectacular views of the Aegean Sea as we approach. There is a large free parking area just before the beach, which is a great advantage if we are traveling in our own vehicle or with a rental. It's important to consider that, in high season, the parking lot can fill up, so it's a good idea to arrive early.

By Local Bus

During the summer months, there is usually a local bus service connecting Skopelos Town with nearby beaches, including a stop relatively close to Glysteri. However, from the main stop, we may have to walk a short stretch, which, although short, can be steep. We always advise checking the updated schedules, as they can vary.

By Water Taxi or Boat

For a more picturesque and relaxing arrival, we can opt for a water taxi or a small boat from the port of Skopelos Town. This is a fantastic option, especially if we want to avoid traffic or simply enjoy a ride along the coast.
