How to Get to Playa de Keri

If we are coming from the city of Zante, the island's capital, the drive takes approximately 30-40 minutes, covering a distance of about 20 kilometers. The road is well signposted and takes us through picturesque villages and olive groves, giving us a first impression of authentic island life.

Transport Options:

• Rental Car: Undoubtedly the most comfortable and flexible option. It allows us to explore the island at our own pace and access more secluded coves. There are numerous car rental agencies both at the airport and in the city of Zante.
• Public Bus (KTEL): During the high season, there are bus services connecting the city of Zante with Limni Keriou. However, schedules can be limited, so we recommend checking them in advance. It is an economical option, but less direct.
• Taxi: A convenient alternative if we prefer not to drive. Taxis are available all over the island, and although more expensive than the bus, they offer a door-to-door service.
• Motorbike/Quad: For the more adventurous, renting a motorbike or quad is an exciting way to tour the island and feel the Mediterranean breeze. However, we always recommend caution and wearing a helmet.

The Sand and Water

Playa de Keri surprises us with its unique composition of sand and fine pebbles, classifying it as a 'mixed' type beach. From a frappé coffee to an authentic 'souvlaki', everything is within our reach.
