If we're coming from Faro, the journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes by car, following the A22 and then more picturesque national roads. From Aljezur, the nearest town, the trip is just 10-15 minutes on a well-signposted road that takes us directly to the beach.

Once we approach the beach, we'll find several parking areas available. During the high season, especially in July and August, parking can fill up quickly, so we advise arriving early to secure a good spot. Some parking lots are paid in summer, but the prices are usually reasonable and worth the convenience of having the car nearby. The access road is narrow in some sections, but it's in good condition and offers spectacular views of the ocean and the surrounding landscape. There is no direct and frequent public transport to the beach, which helps maintain its somewhat more exclusive and less crowded charm compared to other more central beaches of Faro.
