From Lisbon, the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, taking the A8 motorway heading north and then turning onto the A17. If you are coming from Porto, the trip is similar in duration, using the A1 and then the A17. The beach is well signposted once you approach the Leiria and Maceira area. Furthermore, the beach has ample Parking areas, which is a great advantage, although in the middle of summer we might have to search a bit more to find a good spot.

By Public Transport
